Fading Immunity Wins 2023 Modern Healthcare and Ad Age Healthcare Marketing Impact Award
Our “Fading Immunity” campaign for Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Public Health has been awarded a 2023 Modern Healthcare and Ad Age Healthcare Marketing Impact Award in the Social Media Campaign of the Year category. We’re honored to have won this year since fewer than 50 of these awards were given out nationally!
The Healthcare Marketing Impact Awards recognize health care’s best advertising, marketing, promotion and communication campaigns. The awardees include providers, insurers, suppliers and others that promote the health of individual patients, groups and communities to meet objectives in today’s rapidly changing health care environment.
This campaign has been recognized alongside outstanding campaigns from major national health care companies and organizations, including Northwell Health, Janssen, Quest Diagnostics and the American Dental Association.
The “Fading Immunity” campaign was a resounding success for many reasons. Booster vaccinations in Riverside County increased 1.5% over the three-month course of the campaign, and there were over 30,000 fewer cases of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 as estimated by modeled data. It’s always an honor to be recognized for our work, but in this case, what’s even more gratifying is the result of the campaign — improved immunity rates in Riverside County. Winning awards is a huge honor, but making a difference in the health of the community is what it’s all about.
