Santa Clara Valley Medical Center’s (SCVMC) reputation as a public safety net hospital serving ethnically-diverse Silicon Valley overshadowed its nationally acclaimed medical specialties, innovative technologies and superior outcomes—an impressive story that needed to be told.
We put the idea of being a public hospital in Silicon Valley on a pedestal and launched the inaugural “Go Public!” campaign. It educated the county about all of SCVMC’s amazingness—while conveying their passionately progressive yet humbly heroic brand personality. “Go Public!” changed perceptions, exceeded marketing activity goals, increased patient volume—and made people proud of their public hospital again.
