L.A. Care is the nation’s largest public health plan, with over 2.1 million members. But with consumer research indicating low brand awareness, coupled with a threatened repeal of the Affordable Care Act, L.A. Care felt compelled to revitalize its mission to L.A. County’s residents.
We celebrated L.A. Care’s core differentiator as the only health plan solely focused on L.A. County residents by tapping into what it means to be an Angeleno — with wings elevating members to a healthier place. By targeting multiple ethnic groups in an authentic way, we helped to bridge brand awareness into open enrollment season by setting a new enrollment record and exceeding membership goals 3x in the process.
