Irvine, CA— Maricich Healthcare Communications was recently honored by the Healthcare Marketing Report’s 32nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, taking home 15 awards, notably including eight Gold awards and one Best of Show. In 2014, Maricich was also honored with Best of Show, making this the second year in a row for this high achievement.
This year’s Best of Show was awarded in the Total Integrated Marketing Campaign category for Maricich’s work on the Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare “Healthy Driven” campaign, which featured Danica Patrick, and communicated a uniform brand for the newly merged health system.
The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest and largest healthcare advertising awards competition. The awards are sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. Over 3,500 entries were submitted, making the Healthcare Advertising Awards one of the 10 largest of all advertising awards.
In addition to the Best of Show, Maricich received eight Gold awards in the Poster and Newspaper Single categories for the Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare “Healthy Driven” campaign, as well as Gold awards in the Total Ad Campaign Without TV, Magazine Single, and Outdoor for the UC Irvine Health “The Anti-Cancer” campaign (produced by the internal UC Irvine Health marketing department). Finally, the Maricich team was awarded Gold in the Digital Video category for a UC Irvine Health patient video.
